-三世代共同作品-齋藤研先生 collaboration with Mr.KEN SAITO

Ladies and Gentlemen
Tonight I have an exciting announcement to give you
I was going to post this article over a month ago.. Well, finally I have decided that tonight will be the appropriate moment for us all.

This work is by Mr.Ken Saito, who Julia has been taking contact for a while.
Maybe some of you may notice why I'm so excited tonight.
On the upper right, Mr.Saito has placed our drawing that Julia and I did at an event called 裏CAViTY in
February.http://undydandy.blogspot.com/2011/02/one-koenji.html

The above is another of Mr.Saito's work. I believe it is a self portrait that he has drawn on the bottom.

1.4.11

It's not over yet.

Almost 3weeks has passed since the earthquake had hit the Tohoku area.
It is still scary for me to see the news sometimes.
There was a suggestion about getting me and my brother go to the states for a while, using our spring vacation.
Well, I am still in Tokyo, and am intended to stay here.

It is both scary and sad to feel the awakening sensation slowly drifting away from us, I mean from all of us who have not been evacuated severely.  We have gas, water and light supplied 24/7. We have warm food on our table three times a day,  and transportation system is getting back to its normal schedule here.

The link I am going to post tonight is something I have been saving up for a week or so.
I wanted to write this article when I felt I needed to be reminded how serious a impact this earthquake has brought. This is real, this is no fiction. And that it is not over yet.

The video was taken and posted on Youtube by my friend's father, who is from Fukushima. He had gone back to Fukushima to bring in some supplies from Tokyo.
The first time I saw this video, it really did have an impact. I felt something that I had never felt when I was watching the news. It somehow gave a more real image of what was happening than what the main-stream media had to give me.
I really need to thank my friend and my friend's father for that. I really needed that experience, to feel more related to what is happening to Japan right now.

Below is the message that I received from my friend, and her father.
It says that they want people to view this video with the knowledge that the reactor which has exploded was generating electricity for the people in the Kanto area( Tokyo included), and that the electricity for Fukushima prefecture itself is generated from a different electric company.   Fukushima prefecture is where the exploded reactor is located.
