How to RESTART the gas meter
(picture from Japan Gas Assosiation webpage)
Check that you have closed your gas cock completely. Be careful of any gas leaks.
If your gas meter has stopped, a red light will be blinking.

1. Turn the black top on the top left to the counterclockwise direction.
2. Once the top is off there will be a button beneath it. Press the button.
3. Put the black top back on.
4. Wait around 3 minutes. During this time, do not try to use your gas. Check for any gas leaks at this point.
5. Check that the red light has stopped blinking. Once it has stopped its blinking, it signals that you have regained your gas.
